Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device. They keep you signed in, remember your settings, and (with your permission) help us measure traffic.

We use a strict three-bucket model: essential (always on), analytics (off until you opt in), marketing (off until you opt in). The full breakdown is below.

Essential — always on

Without these the site doesn’t work: authentication, CSRF protection, locale, theme, and storing your consent decision itself. You can’t disable essential cookies without breaking the site.

Analytics — off by default

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages help people decide. Data is aggregated; we don’t look at individuals. These load only after you click “Accept all” or toggle Analytics on in cookie preferences.

Marketing — off by default

Reserved for future re-targeting via paid ads. None are loaded today. The category exists so the consent banner stays accurate if we ever turn it on — it would still require you to opt in.

Re-open the consent banner any time: Cookie preferences. Or use your browser’s privacy controls to block cookies globally — note this may break essential functionality on other sites too.

Withdrawing consent doesn’t affect the lawfulness of any processing we did before withdrawal.

Google Analytics is the only third-party analytics tool we use, and only when you’ve opted in. See Google’s privacy policy for what they do with the data.
